Thank you to the Golf Committee for hosting an informative and lively Opening Meeting on Saturday. The brunch was delicious!
President Su Morrow kept the meeting moving along with her usual good humour. Linda MacDonald detailed our treasurer's report and minutes from last fall's meeting. VP Laura McCracken Ebbrell introduced new members. The calendar for our season's events was distributed by Games Captain Sandy Young - the dates on the left of the blog will be updated as needed. Handicap and Match Play convenor Dale Hodge reminded us to keep an up-to-date handicap - she is available to help. Those new to Dalewood need to see one of the clerks in the pro shop, assistant pro Nick, or manager Craig to get onto the Golf Canada website to enter your scores.
We will continue to use google docs to sign up for Tuesday golf, with a 'strict' warning from Lynn Attley not to change your groupings. If you have to cancel, inform the pro shop, not Lynn. If you don't receive notification of your time by Monday, check on the Chronogolf site.
Annabel Thorpe was the lucky person who walked away (literally) with a pair of new golf shoes generously donated by Head Pro Brad Pemberton.
