Rules Refresher:

For some common rules questions, here are three short videos, about 1 minute each, from the R & A to help with these rules situations: unplayable ball, lost or out of bounds ball, and provisional ball. Click the link below to watch:

More Holiday Photos

 From Tracey Bodashefsky:

"I had my first eagle this winter. It was an exciting time as we were playing an inter-club match (7 teams from 7 clubs playing at each club). This was on a dogleg par four at Blackmore. With my handicap stroke, I netted a 1 for the hole. My partner was so excited she took my picture."

More details: Tracey almost drove the green over fescue to 10 feet from the green and putted in from there.

Not everyone goes golfing for their "holiday" - Sandi MacDonald and Peter Wangen have spent a lot of their time the last few years volunteering at curling events. They were honouring Dave Merklinger, longtime and respected ice-maker, who is retiring this year. The ice crew was pictured and recognized along with him at the World Men's Curling Championship in Ottawa. (P.S. Canada goes for gold at 4 pm Sunday).

Thanks to Bridget Smith for this catch on TSN.
