Games and Events

Our Section Activities:

The Games Captain and her committee strive to organize a number of different games and events for our section throughout the season. A minimal assessment is required for members of the women's section to cover trophy engraving, personal achievement prizes and other small costs. Most of our events are not covered by the assessment and require an additional fee. The contact person is listed after each event, if you have any questions.

Opening and Closing Field Days - These are usually team events meant to mix up handicaps levels and provide a fun day of golf.

Tuesday Golf - Members have the opportunity to play morning, afternoon, or evening golf. Some Tuesdays will involve a variety of on course competitions (closest to the pin, longest putt, etc.), low putts, and low net prizes. Sign up any time the previous week until Saturday.

Match Play - There are doubles 18-hole, singles-18 hole, and a putting competition that run throughout the season, starting at the beginning of June. The rules for each are listed under their own tabs on the blog. Sign up is during the month of May. Sandi MacDonald: Sandi.macw@yahoo.ca

Saturday Skins - A group of women play on Saturday morning - usually with 4-5 tee times booked. The convenor will send an email out which you must respond to by Wednesday noon if you intend to play. The lowest net score on a hole wins a skin, with a $2 entry fee. All players must have an up-to-date handicap. Sandy Young: sandy.young@hki.com

The Pro Shop runs this event.
