June 19, 1931-January 1, 2022
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Jean Buchanan-MacDonald. She passed away peacefully at the Wales Home on January 1, 2022 in her 91st year. Predeceased by her loving husband of 58 years, Robert J. MacDonald, and parents Winnie and Wilbert Buchanan.
Mourning her loss, is daughter Sandra MacDonald-Wangen (Peter), and son Drew; son Robert Bruce MacDonald, (Linda), daughters Kristen (Taylor), Brittany, and Jenna MacDonald. She is survived by her brother Angus Buchanan (Janice), and niece Kim and nephew Chris Buchanan, nephew John Robert MacDonald (Linda), and niece Judy Joyce (Fred). She was a nurse for many years at the Wales Home, a source of great pride to her and her family. It was a comforting end to her life journey. We would like to thank all the staff of the Wales Home for the outstanding care she received during her residence at the Home.
