President’s Message
I mistakenly
thought that spring had arrived! Hopefully the weather will warm up soon and we
will be back golfing for another season. Welcome back all of you who have been
away. The weather was wonderful in the south this year and I understand it
wasn’t too bad here either. Regardless, I know we’re all looking forward to
beginning our new golf season.
Jamie and his staff have been busy getting
ready for the new season. They are preparing the course as well as the
clubhouse for our return. Hopefully that day will be in the near future! The
feedback from the questionnaire was very helpful to the executive who has used
the information to plan for the coming year. We have already made some changes
that were suggested and will continue using the information to plan the events
for the season.
The Spring General Meeting and President’s
Welcome Reception will be held on Sunday, May 1. The event offers time to
socialize with returning members and to welcome new women to our membership.
Registration in the Great Hall begins at 12:00 followed by a buffet lunch at
1:00. The meeting will begin at 2:00. One of the executive members will be
phoning you soon to give you the details.
I’m very excited about the 2016 golf season and
hope you enjoy all that Dalewood has to offer. The executive will continue to
keep you informed of events and news through our Blog and by email. If you have
any new ideas or need information please speak to one of the executive members.
