The league will consist of 4 teams
set up with players from 4 different handicap groups. Each team will have a captain and the teams
will be randomly drawn on “Draft Night” May 13 at 7:30. (Final date for sign-up is May 10). Team names will be also be chosen that night. Team play will begin on May 27.
There will be 8 Tuesdays throughout
the summer when your team plays against another team (on paper only) for nine
holes. You may play at any time on a
Tuesday and with whom you want to play.
Your NET score will be used (with a maximum per hole according to your
handicap) to contribute to your team. Only
the best 4 or 5 net scores will be counted so the more people the team has out
to play, the better that team will do.
If you’re having a bad game, don’t worry, you can still contribute
participation points for simply being there.
You don't have a handicap? No problem! The program will figure out a handicap
for you after 4 games, if you don’t already have one. Don’t let that be a deterrent. You can play to a 43 hcp to start with, if
you don’t have one.
EVERYONE is welcome, whether or not you belong to the women’s section or play in
the regular game on Tuesday. The cost
for the season is $20. All prize money
will be returned at the end of the season to the winning teams and individuals.

bulletin board in the hall downstairs.
If you can’t be at the club by May 10 to sign up, email me (jbeaith@sympatico.ca) to let me know that you want to play on a team. If you have any questions, email me or bring
them to our Opening Meeting on May 3.
