- meet new friends to play golf with so you can feel comfortable putting your name on the tee sheet
- share some laughs on Opening and Closing Field Days, and on Tuesdays (However, you don't need pay the assessment to join us on Tuesdays.)
- take part in some competition such as match play (all you need is a handicap)
In case anyone is wondering what the $40 assessment for the Women's Section is used for, here is the answer:
- prizes for Opening and Closing Field Days (if you play in both you will get at least 1/2 of your money back)
- prizes for all of the trophies we play for throughout the summer (doubles and singles match play, putting competition, partner better-ball, and partner 2-ball)
- prizes for the ringer, birdie, par, and bogey boards
- Golf Canada Pins, Break 100, 90, 80 pins, Eagle and Hole-in-one pins
- AND the appies and wine at the President's Reception
The only things not covered by the assessment are the Club Championship and the Devil's Tournament.
