Some Clarification about the Achievement Board from the Games Committee:

This year the Games Committee decided to try a new way of recording your Achievements (that is: Ringers, Birdies, Pars, Bogeys, and Chip-ins).

Instead of you personally putting your numbers on the board and leaving the card, you are now to fill out a piece of paper from the box on the shelf with your name and the date on it. Put the paper in the appropriate box and our Games Captain Barb will fill out the board. (You should not be writing anything on the board.) Please double check your slip before submitting to save our captain having to contact you.

You may choose only one game of the week from Sunday to Saturday to use for your achievements. For example, if you have a par on hole #1 and bogey on #9 on Tuesday, but have a chip-in for par on #15 on Thursday, you must decide which scorecard you want to use. You must pick one day for your achievements. If you play in a match or in the Club Championship, you may use those cards in addition to one other game during the week.

Most people keep their scores for the week on one card and pick one game of the week to use for the board.

We were asked what a ringer score is:  it is the best score you make on each hole for the season.

Any questions, please see Barb Pemberton - Games Captain.
