9-Hole Match Play

Huffman 9-Hole Match Play

This is a single elimination match played on the front nine holes. You take 1/2 of the 18 hole factor shown on the computer, the maximum of which is 40.4. If 1/2 of the 18 hole factor has 2 decimal places round to the nearest 10th (19.75 factor would be rounded to 19.8).  That number is then converted to your front 9 handicap using the Golf Canada Conversion Chart in the Pro Shop. Strokes are then given according to the difference between the two players' front 9 handicaps. If tied at the end of 9 holes, the match shall be decided over three holes starting on the front and if still tied continue for another three holes, and continue in that manner until settled.
