From Dale:

The Little Treasure Shop is going on the road to set up a tent at the annual Downtown Cobourg Sidewalk Sale. Volunteers have sorted through the stock room and found great sidewalk sale deals to share along with the desire to let the community know that there is a wonderful gift shop in the hospital that carries a wide selection of inventory for the sole purpose of raising funds for patient care at NHH.

We thank @TenThousandVillagesCobourg for sponsoring our tent right next to theirs at 16 King St. W.

If you are downtown, drop in.  We will be at the Sidewalk Sale for Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2 from 10am to 6pm.  Picture is old but you can certainly recognize a couple of the volunteers.

Topic:: Weekend Update:
             Food & Beverage

The DWS Executive identified inconsistent availability of food for sale other than bbq.
After meeting with Jen this week we have come up with a plan:
• Breakfast sandwiches will be in the pro shop on Saturday and as well as muffins and scones
• Pre-made sandwiches will be in the fridge at the bbq.
• The bar cart will also have some sandwiches

There are 72 players Saturday morning, men and women. We do not want to miss any opportunities to maximize sales.

Your support is appreciated as is your feedback.

```````````````
From Jon Sherman - The Four Foundations of Golf
He outlines 13 bad habits which may be holding you back from becoming a better golfer.
Here are the first three:
1) Complaining about external factors for your performance.
It wasn’t the:
  • Course
  • Conditions
  • Playing partners
  • Equipment
You have to take more responsibility for your game.
2) The endless swing-tip hamster wheel.
Showing up to the range every week with a new swing tip will not take your game to the next level.
3) Impatience
Whether you are on the course or waiting for your handicap to drop after doing a lot of work, golf can move slowly.
Patience is a superpower in this game.
