A cart disaster sent from Janet Hull:

"One of our members drove his cart into the pond on our 1st hole of the Cove Course. Supposedly he was mad at his shot. 

The real story was he got his foot stuck between the brake and accelerator peddle. He went right in with the cart. Thanks goodness it was a lovely 89 degrees and he dried off by the time he got to 10.  Ironically, one of the marshals said the guy is commodore of the Newport yacht club." 

Jordan's Socks

Once again Jordan is collecting new socks for those in need. 

All donations from here stay in Northumberland. Sandi MacDonald is collecting socks for Jordan's grandmother. The socks can dropped off at Sandi's house (2684 Theatre Road South), at the curling rink in Cobourg, or at our Christmas Dinner on Dec 10 at the club.
