If you have not yet responded to our annual Christmas Luncheon at noon on Friday Dec 6, please do so by this Friday, Nov 29. I will send an email out after that date to remind everyone they have signed up.

The 10 year-old granddaughter of a curling friend of Sandi MacDonald is collecting socks for the homeless and needy. If you would like to contribute a pair or two to the collection, bring them to the luncheon and Sandi will pass them on. If you aren't coming to lunch, you can drop them off at the curling club (Furnace Street), the pro shop at Dalewood, or at Sandi's (2684 Theatre Road).

Her website is https://jordanssocks.com if you would like to see more about this inspiring young girl.

Jordan has collected over 24,000 pairs of socks in the last 5 years. Although she lives in Peel Region, donations have been made to Cobourg Salvation Army, and both Transition House and Cornerstone in Cobourg. All socks donated here stay in Northumberland County.
